Rare Knoll and Drake walnut cabinet on white steel legs with single drawer over sliding doors. Original shelf, as well as leather handles have been replaced. The collaboration was between Knoll Associates + Drake Furniture/Austin Industries, in the USA, in 1955, designed by Ladislav Rado. Unforeseen production costs and Hans Knoll’s untimely death that same year combined to end the Knoll + Drake experiment after one year.
