ReGeneration was founded in 1993 by Valerie Guariglia and Christine Miele. What began as a passion for collecting mid-century furniture and objects evolved into a thriving business partnership, quickly becoming a retail destination and relaxed social scene for furniture dealers, decorators and design enthusiasts. Over their 25 years in the industry, they have established an impeccable reputation within the design community built on an expertly curated collection, exhibitions, and in-store panel discussions.
Over the years, reGeneration has presented the work of master tapestry artist, photographer and expert draughtsman Jan Yoors (1922-1977), ceramics by Pamela Sunday and Andrea Koeppel, photography and artwork by Francine Fleischer, David Ryan, Julian Peploe, Stephen Rose and Gabriela Valenzuela-Hirsch. They have also collaborated with pop artist, Dylan Egon on a range of textiles and furniture.
Apart from trading in remarkable vintage pieces, reGeneration also produces a new line of original furniture. Delving into their vintage roots, Chris and Val have created a spare, stylish collection available in standard and custom finishes that juxtaposes bright contemporary colors and exotic wood veneers with classic forms. The line incorporates warm metals, rich wood grains and woven elements, providing a range of options either bold or subdued. The collection also features artistic collaborations available in limited editions.
Throughout the life of their business, Chris and Val have fully expressed the values they hold most deeply: integrity of materials, expert craftsmanship, elegant design, and the ability of domestic objects to enrich the look as well as function of our lives. Thank you for visiting.
reGeneration is now offering a range of design services including residential and commercial interior design, procurement and consulting. We look forward to discussing any sized project.
